More Work on Our Kitchen
Did you all have a wonderful long Memorial day weekend? While others around the country celebrated the holiday weekend at the beach, on the lake, having get togethers with friends and family, and having cookouts........we or should I say hubby worked. He worked installing our tumbled marble backsplash in our kitchen. It took both saturday and sunday to get it all installed. We do still need to grout the backsplash, apply the sealer and install the outlet covers, but I can say I LOVE IT!!

Looks beautiful! And YES, they do sell tumbled marble outlet covers. They're fairly expensive, but so worth it - don't want to cheapen that beautiful backsplash with plastic ones!!

Looks great, Darlene! I know how much you are loving it, me too. :) If you check out my kitchen you can see that I faux painted my outlet covers to match my tumbled marble backsplash. That was one of the first things I did after we moved in, the white stuck out like crazy. It was very easy with craft paint.
Darlene, your kitchen looks great. You and your hubby remind me of us. . . we do everything together too! We are blessed to be married to handymen. So many of my friend's husbands don't do these things. Mine does and I'm right along his side helping too.
