A Hike in the Forest

My 12 year old daughter is being homeschooled this year so today we had a fieldtrip...just her & I. We went hiking in the forest. I enjoyed our time talking & hiking. Although since we were the only ones on the trail my mind wandered a bit. I started thinking about things like snakes, getting lost in the woods, wild animals that may attack us or even a crazy lunatic in the woods. Can you tell I don't hike much? LOL! Well I said my prayer of protection and tried to get my mind back on the pretty scenery. Here are the photos I took...it was very pretty!>
