I'm Escaping!

Is anyone else depressed about the US economic crisis that we are facing? I know I am! After hearing the Presidents announcement last night a depression set in. As a christian I know that we are living in the last days & this has all been fortold. So part of me is at peace knowing that I am a daughter of the most high king & that he loves me & will take care of me. The other part of me is sad that we will have to go through such turmoil!

So I'm escaping reality tomorrow night!!! Hubby is taking me on a date! Woo Hoo! He is taking me to see Nights in Rodanthe!! I'm so excited! I just loved The Notebook, so I'm sure I will love this romantic movie as well!! I better bring some tissue!

See the Preview here: (Oh & you'll need to turn off music so that you can hear the movie preview...just scroll to the bottom of the page & pause the music.)

God Bless!

I missed his speach... I will have to watch it on U-tube.

Have fun on your date and let us know how the movie is. We vacation to Rodanthe!

It is a scary time right now. I'm hoping some of those dopey politicians get of their rumps and figure out a way to fix this mess they've created...but I'm not gonna hold my breath!

Thanks for stopping by and I would love to be some encouragement to your sister. It has been a little tough. Especially with my kids being farther than I like from the nest. Yes all this economic mess can be depressing, but as my husband reminded me tonight God is bigger than any crisis, and my focus must be him and his faithfullnes. He said we take just one day at a time because that what God gives us, and enough for every day. Hope you had a great time at the movie. Jackie

I saw your comment on empty nest full life and wanted to let you know we are also empty nesters with both kids living out of state. I have my moments of missing them incredibily. I even did not bother to put up a Christmas tree two years in a row. Maybe this year I will. I don't know yet. Loved you header picture. So autumny!

I saw the preview for that movie last night and it looks good. My daughter and I went to see Mamma Mia (our little local movie finally got it) last night. I think there were 6 people total in there for that movie.

I have seen your name around on some of the blogs I frequent...It's a great name isn't it!?!! Nice to finally meet you!

Oh, you'll have to tell us if it was good. I heard a movie critic say that he didn't really like it.
but what do critics know?
Thanks for the tutorial on preserving leaves. They would make a beautiful wreath.
Your daughter's bedroom looks beautiful!!! What a wonderful birthday gift!
Have a delightful weekend.
