An Easy Valentine Craft for your Home

Do you remember the candy christmas tree our daughter made during the holidays?? Well we all thought it turned out so great! That made me start thinking of what we could make for the valentine's day holiday. We had just bought some large conversation hearts, so I knew it had to include those. So when at the dollar store I spotted a photo frame with a flat front, I knew this would be perfect with the conversation hearts!

I wanted the frame black, so out came the trusty spray paint.

Once the frame was dry, I laid out the candy hearts on the frame so I had the proper spacing. Once I liked the layout, I hot glued each piece of candy to the frame.

So easy!! After I was done there were a few of those pesky hot glue strings so I took my handy blow dryer to it & voila no more hot glue strings. Now just spray with some polyurethane & add a photo to it and enjoy!! Isn't it cute??? I think it is! Especially the sweet girl in the frame...my Callie at age 5.

Happy Crafting!

Oh my goodness, how adorable. If I had small children it would be so fun to make with them. Since I don't, I'll make one myself. THANK YOU. Have a good day.

Hoe do you preserve the candies? So they don't break or get sticky. I've wanted to make pins with convo hearts and thought I could spray a clear gloss to make them wearable. I really didn't want to resort to mixing resin.

Sweet Wishes,
Sara
