I wanted the frame black, so out came the trusty spray paint.
Once the frame was dry, I laid out the candy hearts on the frame so I had the proper spacing. Once I liked the layout, I hot glued each piece of candy to the frame. So easy!! After I was done there were a few of those pesky hot glue strings so I took my handy blow dryer to it & voila no more hot glue strings. Now just spray with some polyurethane & add a photo to it and enjoy!! Isn't it cute??? I think it is! Especially the sweet girl in the frame...my Callie at age 5.
Happy Crafting!

Oh my goodness, how adorable. If I had small children it would be so fun to make with them. Since I don't, I'll make one myself. THANK YOU. Have a good day.
That is so clever and cute! Love that idea. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Your frame turned out just darling!
I love that!! Yeah, finally a home made craft that I could actually do and my girls will have so much fun doing it. I know what we can do for our day off of school on Monday. Thanks so much for sharing the idea.
So creative and cute! laurie
What a sweet frame love it, but the sweetest part is your little girl :)
Have a great Sunday,
Kathy :)
Hoe do you preserve the candies? So they don't break or get sticky. I've wanted to make pins with convo hearts and thought I could spray a clear gloss to make them wearable. I really didn't want to resort to mixing resin.
Sweet Wishes,
Sara
