Creating a Tablescape for St. Patrick's Day

I didn't know much about what St. Patrick's Day was for so I did some research. If you would like to know for yourself...click here.
I have NEVER decorated for St. Patrick's Day, but I'm all about creating memories for my family so I was thinking about doing a fun tablescape & fun menu for St Patrick's Day this year.
I was searching the net and came across some great items from
Lillian Vernon.

This is only $2.98 Irish Coffee anyone?? Put some green food coloring in the whipped cream for St. Patty's day! Set of 4 is $29.98 (personlized with 1 initial)

How about these adorable shamrock plates & coffee or hot toddy mugs? Set of 4 $12.98

Shamrock tablerunner or some shamrock placemats/napkins (I would use one or the other, but not both)

This Shamrock Platter is adorable for only $8.98
(this would be nice to take with some shamrock cookies all wrapped in celophane to a neighbor or as a hostess gift)
I'm sure you all have a glass candle holder or glass vase, so just pick up a green candle and you can buy some glass clover scatters for $7.98

If Irish Coffee isn't your thing...how about some personalized Pilsner glasses. Set of 4 $14.98

Happy Tablescaping!

Darlene

I just LOOOVE all this...and WHAT bargains! Thanks so much for sharing all you found! My deceased Mom used to LOOOVE St. Patrick's day, she was 100% Irish, through and through. I am now on the lookout for shamrock accessories....to go with some green dishes I already have! Hugs, Pinky

Love the dishes & runner. Even the monogramed mugs are cool. Michael's has those shamrock filler things - I bought some! :O)

I also never decorate for St. Patrick's Day. I guess I don't really celebrate it so it doesn't mean much to me. It would be fun to have a green meal for the family. Thanks for getting my mind flowing for ideas.

Hi Darlene,
Such cute things you found, being Irish I do put out a few things, plus living in the NE it adds a little something something to an otherwise UGLY time of year...so for the month of Feb we are all red/Valentines and then for March we are all green, then April it's Easter decor...my Mum always did this so I guess I am just following suit. Just little touches kitchen towels, flag, front door decoration oh and always a cool mat, right now I have an Irish hat as our doormat.

"May your home always be too small to hold all your friends" one of my fave Irish blessings...

All the best,
Kathy :)
