Come On In and See Our Candy Tree

Hello! Come on in! My daughter Callie is making a candy tree. She tried using Elmer's glue...but that didn't work. Hot Glue worked perfect though! It looks so cute, don't ya think?! I think next year we will do a larger candy tree and add to our candy tree collection every year. Do you think it needs to be sealed with a polyurethane?

Good Job Callie! You're as talented as your mom! I love the tree....it's so festive! I would THINK polyurethan would seal it but I would also wrap it and put it in a big plastic bin. Little pesky pests have a way of finding all the good, sweet things while they are in storage!

I did a tree like this several years ago at my shop for the christmas walk and we gave it away as a door prize. I never tried to save one before thou; let me know how you make out.

The candy tree is adorable! I'm in the process of making one right now like Callie's but with buttons. I'll have to show a picture of it when it's finished. I do agree that it probably will need to be sealed with something...or it just may get nibbled at!
