A Blast From My Past

My 12 year old daughter Callie decided today at the last minute to be a 80's punk rocker for Halloween. No problem.....I said, I can totally help you with this! After all I was a punk rocker/new waver in the 80's. Bet you all didn't know that, huh?! Now you have a random fact about me. (I even had pink hair once...champagne pink to be exact) LOL

So here is Callie my 80's punk rocker chic..........

Hope you all are having a safe & happy halloween!

Creative Halloween Decor

This is a re-post from last year, but it was such a popular post with very creative ideas that I thought I would repost it because I have so many new blog friends that may not have seen the post from last year.

Found some very creative Halloween decor ideas from a store called Curious Sofa in KS. I don't decorate for Halloween but I know many of you do...so I wanted to make sure I shared this with you. I'm sure if you are like me & don't decorate for halloween you will still be able to appreciate the creativity.

Here's an easy one...just buy eyeball gumballs & put them in a glass bowl or apothocary jar.

Another simple one...but please use a fake ax!!

This is my favorite! So clever! Hmm, where can you buy some legs???
Maybe manequin legs on eBay?

Easy Easy...black licorice or any black candy in pretty apothocary jars.

Stenciled pumpkins...how easy is that? Easy!
Ok, you got me on this one! I really don't know where you could get some skulls.

Do you know??

Wouldn't this be great on a guest bed! Of course, only during halloween! Unless that is if you don't want your guests to stay! LOL!

My Daughter...The Mad Hatter

Just thought I would share a few pics of my daughter in her Halloween costume. She dressed up as the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. Dad took her to our church which has what they call "Holyween"(I stayed home because I have a bad cold). They have games, pony rides, food, cake walks, face painting, moon jumps, etc... She has gone to this every year since she was 2 or 3. She said next year she wants to help with the games and give out candy to the little kids...awe, she's growing up.

Have a great saturday! I'll be just relaxing trying to get over this cold!
