Garage Sale Finds

The family and I went to a few garage sales on saturday. Hubby bought a PING golf driver for $5 and he doesn't even golf. He said he heard it was worth money. We looked it up on eBay and found the same one sold for $50 on average. Not too bad! I found an ornate frame for $3. Not sure what color this will end up being or if it will stay a frame. Any ideas?



I also found 2 large candle holders with alot of detail for $4. Not sure where these will go yet. I will have to paint them probably either black or white. Any suggestions?

    you found some CUTE stuff!! i think that you should paint the candle holders black AND white!!! might be a little tedious though! but i bet it would turn out cute!! :)

    I like Kara's idea for a chalkboard.

    Quite a deal on the golf club.

    We need to get to garage sales now and then. Never think about it until we see a sign and then we're in a hurry to get where we're going, so no stopping!

    the chalkboard is a good idea, tho I'd think twice about keeping that lovely picture, painted white or black it would be nice on it's own...

    i LOVE the candle holders, they are just what I've got my eye out for

    I cracked up with the golf club thing, when he doesn't even play golf, that's the kinda think I do...just make sure you put em on ebay don't let em sit around which is what I do ;-)

    I like the colour of the candle sticks just as they are. You might enjoy a free online garage sale. My wife and I love to shop these and find great deals on stuff for our house.
